Three Connecting Spaces
Purbeck Stone
This sculpture was carved from an old rockery stone that I shaped into a pebble like shape and created the spaces within. I can’t help myself but polish this stone, I often think I will try and add more contrasting textures but the allure to see what is only visible when polished is too strong. It’s like the pebble on the beach that gets wet, and then dries out losing its intense tone.
