Polished Vessel
Derbyshire Marble/ Limestone.
I got this stone from a quarry that normally sends its stone of to be crushed to powder for tooth past and other such products. Quite different from the other stone I got at the same time from that quarry, which was not very good as it had been blasted rather than cut and a kind of light grey buff colour. Would seem a shame to me to crush up such a interesting stone to clean my teeth with.
The inside of the vessel is chisel cut and makes a kind of spiral to the bottom.
