Mandale Limestone
A large round bowl, with smooth outer surface, stone bed top, pecked interior with a small polished circle of stone at the bottom. Mandale is a hard fossil-rich stone that takes a high polish and comes from north Derbyshire. It is difficult not to be tempted, to just polish it, in order to discover what fossils might be found within.
